Why Are Only 1.38 percent of Fox News’ Primetime Viewers African-American?

There is evidence that Fox News coverage of obscure and misleading stories about black activists may have helped to turn Fox News into an all-white ghetto. On July 26th, 2010 New York Times reporter Brian Stelter tweeted that, according to Nielsen Media Research, Fox News has averaged just 29,000 black viewers in primetime so far this television season (Sept. 2009 - July 2010). That represents just 1.38% of its 2.102 million total viewer audience.
